Back to School Assessments and a SALE

It's my favorite time of year BACK TO SCHOOL! Our school starts on Wednesday and I can't wait. I always look forward to my new bunch of kiddos and all of the new adventures for the new year. I have been working hard setting up my classroom and it's almost finished. A classroom reveal will be posted very soon. Here is the before pic!

I have also been creating Back to School Assessments for First Grade and Back to School Assessments for Second Grade. Every year I like to a baseline of where my students are in the beginning of the year. So I made these in order to test and see their beginning of the year Math and Language Arts skills. Mother's Day

 

 Happy Mother’s Day

 

Celebrate your students’ mothers with this pack of activities and crafts. One of my favorite activities is the Mother’s Day Cookbook. Your students will write about their favorite recipe that their mother makes and then all of the recipes are compiled into a cookbook. All of the mothers in the class will receive a cookbook with all of the recipes.

120th Day of School 2015

 

The 120th Day of School 2015

 

We had a blast celebrating the 120th day

 of school this year.

 Here is how our day went.

 

 

I set up the classroom before the kids came in.

 There were 15 stations that the kids

could choose from.

 

This year the prep was so easy thanks to the folder system.

 

Here are some of the stations that the kids

loved, loved, loved.

 

 

 We counted 120 fruit loops and made necklaces.

 

We wrote about what we would do

with 120 dollars.

 

We made crowns.

 

We rolled dice and flipped pennies.

 

We even made towers of 120 cups.

 

At the end of the day I collected all of the materials and now the

stations are ready for next year!
